Contact button does nothing on frontend... and I need the recipients to be different.
posted in Free Joomla Extensions
First off, I have installed and configured the plugin. It shows up on the frontend of my item listing (I'm using this in the business directory) but when I click the button, nothing happens.
Also, I need to know how to get it to email to the email listed in the individual item. I need the form to go to that specific listing, not a general "catch all" email. It sounded from the description like it was possible but I don't see it implemented that way in any of your documentation.
Thanks.

There are 2 ways to implement this. I am assuming that you know how to Assign an Element to a ZOO App and how to assign an Element to a ZOO App layout view . Refer to ZOO Docs.
1. If you want each Item in your Business Directory to have its own Recipient Email address, you need to go to each Item and then fill in the the recipient email address .
2. If you want all the Submissions to go to one Email Adress ( not what you want but I am mentioning this ) , then you can set a Recipient email address in the elements Parameter settings when you assign it to your ZOO App instance.
Does it work for you know ?

Ah, yes. Thank you. I completely missed it on the backend of my item listing.
No, it's till not working. I am using Joomla 2.5, Zoo 2.5 and SuperContactPRO2.5.7. Here'a a link to a listing: http://globalmissions.com/dev/index.php/missionaries/missionary-directory/item/hayes?category_id=23
I have an email address in the correct field in this listing.Like Be the first to like this post. -

You have some jQuery errors on that page, caused by loading too many jQuery libraries on th site, eg,
http://globalmissions.com/dev/templates/rttheme11/js/jquery-1.3.2.min.js
Try to disable that loading . Super Contact is using the built in jQuery Library from ZOO. You could also try a plugin from the JED called jQuery Easy to try to solve conflict issues and prevent multiple instances loadingLike Be the first to like this post. -

You should follow the Tutorial , http://herdboy.com/club-documentation/item/super-contact-zoo-element?category_id=27
That will help you set a different Recipient for each Item and button labels. See the screenshots in the Docs.
Does it help ?Like Be the first to like this post.
